Job Role
To lead, motivate and support the customer service team in achieving branch sales, profit and service targets, ensuring an exceptional customer experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the customer service team to achieve KPIs and deliver excellent service standards.
Provide training, guidance, and regular feedback to team members, supporting their development.
Monitor team performance, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company processes.
Act as the first point of escalation for complex customer issues and resolve them efficiently.
Customer Service & Sales Support
Ensure all customer queries, requests, and orders are handled promptly, professionally, and to the highest standard.
Work closely with sales and operations teams to maximise sales opportunities and customer satisfaction.
Oversee account management, supporting the development of new and lapsed accounts and identifying opportunities for growth.
Maintain effective communication with internal departments (operations, stock control, credit control) to ensure smooth service delivery.
