Internal Account Manager
Location - Manchester or Leicester
Salary - £32500 + Bonus
Walsh Blythe Turton is a dynamic and growing company, committed to delivering outstanding service and results for our clients. We are now looking for a driven and proactive Internal Account Manager to join our team and help nurture and expand our existing business accounts.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, driving sales growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This office-based role offers a clear progression path into our external sales team for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow your assigned portfolio of accounts
Act as the primary point of contact for your customers, providing exceptional support
Develop relationships, drive engagement, and increase sales and profitability
Identify new business opportunities within existing and potential accounts
Handle escalations proactively and deliver solutions with a positive attitude
Skills required
Highly organised – able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Motivated and passionate – eager to learn, grow, and make an impact
Tech-savvy – proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
A strong communicator – excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in sales – previous experience in a direct sales environment is essential
